Apologies Penguin.

We thought we'd sneak in and upgrade the wiki software while you boys were having your tea.

Give it a half hour or so and we'll be done.

We hope you haven't lost any work.

Sorry  :-[

We've added an extension to the Wiki which allows page authors to embed Google Maps. Hopefully this will be useful particularly for the Irish Cave Diving Database locating the entry & exits points, access routes etc.

There is more detail of how to use the Map Editor and embed the map in the page here:

http://wiki.technicaldiving.ie/index.php/Main_Page#Irish_Technical_Diving_Wiki

Enjoy!

That was easy!   :devilban:  I've just added a map to the new Upper Cradle Hole page (test page).   :bounce:

Cheers!

Would it be possible to put an extra button in the navigation box on the left, just below the button Main Page, to go to the Irish Cave Diving Database (the page with the list of counties and sumps)?  :)

We've finished tinkering with the wiki navigation sidebar and the content of the main page. We just wanted to tidy up the help sections etc.

If there's any other requests, suggestions just shout.

Again we appreciate all the effort that you guys are putting into the ICDD and we'll reciprocate as much as we can.

Lovely, that should make moving around the pages easier.

Just been adding some new stuff from Chris Jewell of some Fermanagh dives in the last couple of years.

Bloody thunderstorms and we can't go out to play...  >:(

Just added ability to embed YouTube videos into the wiki pages - we noticed there were some videos linked in some of the ICDD entries - again details on the main page.

We also noticed that some of the entries have become orphaned (disconnected):

   1. Main Page
   2. Quarry Rising
   3. Sruh Croppa River - Bridge Sink 1, Bank Sink
   4. UPPER CRADLE HOLE TEST PAGE
   5. Upper Cradle Hole, Monastir Way

Are those pages still in use (ok forget about the Main Page - that's always supposed to be top of the heap)? We'll leave it to ye to clean up after yerselves but just bringing it to your attention in case something got accidently snipped.

Anyways the monkeys are off home now for tea.

Enjoy!

If the page isn't linked from the list of sumps then it's disused - it must be the way i'm deleting pages when they are updated that leaves them somewhere (i have just deleted the name from the sump listing!).

Quarry Rising - this was split into Quarry Rising North and Quarry Rising South pages.
Sruh Cropp River - Bridge Sink 1, Bank Sink - this is now called Sruh Croppa River - Bridge Sink 1 and Bank Sink.
UPPER CRADLE HOLE TEST PAGE - this was a new layout i was playing with, i since copied it into the existing UCH page Upper Cradle Hole, upstream sumps (Monastir Way and Northern Way).
Upper Cradle Hole, Monastir Way - this must be an old or first page for the UCH data and i guess it can be expunged since all the UCH data is in the page above.

There may be some internal links between pages that have become broken or need inserted, i'll work on this.
