Article in SubSea Magazin
« on: December 15, 2009, 04:49:17 PM »
There is a very interesting article about the Green Holes of Doolin published in the new SubSea magazine by Artur Kozlowski and some nice picture by Frank Griga.

Well worth looking at.

Well Done!

I rushed to buy it today and WOW!! we're on the cover as well!!  :devilban: :bounce: :rocker:
I 'm very impressed with the Frank's pictures, I've also published the piece on Doolin in Descent and Wielki Blekit (Polish diving magazine) but on both occasions I was somehow disappointed when it came to pictures - layout, quality etc.
the thing is that in case of Doolin we had the pictures first, and that's what we wanted to show, and only then I wrote something to go with them.
That's the firs time I'm really happy with the outcome, I was hoping that the SubSea would put more impact on the pictures and I am not disappointed!!!

cheers

Well done Artur - impressive stuff, congrats.

Stewie

PS I wish that 'unknown' famous McGill would submit an article or two (to anyone!). It's not for the want of a couple of decent images!! Maybe his 'Trinners talk' will inspire him to greater things ???

I'd only have to borrow pictures off Baza and that clearly that would not be fair - to his autobiography!!

Your  Ok Stewie.... I'll not be writing one for a few years yet so I'll give you a few for my B standard ones....  Just buy me a few drinks and you can have whatever you want :buddies:

BTW, I hope to have a few articles appearing in a few diving publications over the next few months  :P

Also, I had a few of my pic's in one of the last archaeology Ireland magazines. Although, that may be a bit too highbrow for a knuckle dragger like you :P

Yes, it's all true McGill.
Poor Stewie only ever got one thing over on you - it starts with 'B' and ends in 'annic'!!!

Fintan - I'd do the book up over Christmas - should be done in an hour or so and fit on one side of a packet of 20.

Best to abreviate 'B' - 'Annic' Steiwe, The entire word would'nt fit on the back of a 20 pack !!!!

Great article in Subsea Artur - bought the mag on Xmas eve. Nice photos Frank!

I also really liked the article by Éibhir Mulqueen on "Seabed mapping reveals rich legacy of shipwrecks"
