hi dolfin,

I'm living in Limerick and i work in Shannon.  Not a bad side of the country for diving - if you're into wrecks: Cork is around 2hours south.  Plenty of interesting stuff there U260, Kowloon Bridge, Folia, ( + the Lusitania if you're lucky).   For scenic diving you cant get much better than Co. Clare:  Kilkee, Loop Head, Doolin, the Aran Islands.   And if you're into caves there's the Green Holes of Doolin and the Gort Lowlands.    Also, just out the road from Limerick is Portroe Quarry - which is Irelands only inland diving centre.

give me a shout if you need any more info

HI, I will probably live very near to Port Roe because I have family in Killaloe.

I've been diving in Kilkee this weekend, it was quite good, but unfortunately I was with the OWD group and I didn't find the guides where very aware...

I knew a guy who's name is Mark that told me about this forum. He's a cave diver. Hope to find him here too.

I'm looking forward to my new diving life in Ireland...

Bests

Welcome to Ireland, I dive with the Aughinish club C.F.T  -http://aughinishdivingclub.com/?try2dive
I would have contacts for all the Local clubs near where you might live- Ennis, Limerick and Lough Derg. Not sure what type of diving your looking for or what you do , but I can surley find you a buddy of some kind to dive with. :bounce:
