Thanks guys.

Cheers for the links Stephen .. its a good start.

While Ratio Decompression is not a complete decompression model, its most resemble those of Bühlmann algorithm, and the Varying Permeability Model algorithm, with emphasis on the use of deep stops and gradient factors.
- what algorithm does the Vision use?

Before I splash out $150 on Decoplanner to evaluate the differences - can anybody recommend the pro's and cons when comparing it to v-planner?

ADMIN - Do we have a symbol for  :flame: :ocdeath: DIR.   :sarcasm:

In any case whatever algorithm you use you need to be able to dive to it.

My "physiological indictors" would be how bad in need of a pee I am. Looking forward to hearing about the others  ???

See ye at the end of the month for more "spidge tales".

Buhlmann, AFAIK.

The web page is a big pile of marketing-speak, but it seems Decoplanner does both Buhlmann and VPM, while V-Planner only does VPM. You can get any number of Buhlmann planners on the web for free (cuz it's dead simple - if you're into electronics, it's like a few RC circuits). JDeco for one. There's undoubtedly some value in having both wrapped in a single package, and maybe the user interface is brilliant, but other than that the value of Decoplanner seems to be that it's got the GUE logo on it.

Cheers,

Matthieu
