The mine layer is U-218 and quite unique compared to the U-1271 type VIIC - only 6 built and the only one other than U-218 diveable lies in 90m of water off Newfoundland as far as I know

I had one dive on her and wouldn't mind going back for a longer dive - 58m to the seabed if I remember correctly

61mtr to the bottom and i too would like to go back to the u-218 as the last dive i had to cut short  :ocdeath: :sarcasm:
