Ok flights booked with Ryanair €85 return. Jury's Inn on Board Street Birminghan booked for Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night £69 per twin room per night (5 rooms booked). Now all we have to do is get home from Gate Crashers on the Friday night to go to the show on Saturday

Hi all, update time on EUROTEK.  At present I am 59 days out and counting from Rebreather Forum 3.  So will be catching my breath and then starting on EUROTEK.2012.

Yes you are quite right about the City Inn that was.  Good news is that I did sign contracts with them before they got sold and rebranded and we've therefore got a rate of £89* and £99* per night depending on whether this is a single or twin / double.  Prices include VAT* and breakfast.  I've also got rooms at the Novotel too (which takes 31 seconds from the front door of the Novotel to walk into the bar at the City Inn.  And yes I did time it).

Tickets will be going on sale in June.  Investigating electronic payment methods so that I don't have to work 20 hours a day for four months processing ticket again. 

*remember we've had a VAT increase since 2010

Hello Everyone (again)

As you've probably guessed I've been rather wrapped up with Rebreather Forum 3 hence it's been all quiet on the EUROTEK.2012 front.

I get back into the UK from Inner Space on Sunday 3rd of June and pick up all things EUROTEK at this point. The plan is to put the tickets on sale in July and if the technology works *fingers crossed* you are going to be able to book via the Facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/#!/EUROTEKDIVE  We'll be posting updates accordingly.

FYI the City Inn (as was) has been rebranded and sold twice since EUROTEK.2010.  The good news is that they've updated the bar and got rid of 'the wall' that got in the way. The bad news is that if you book online you'll see their rates are quite spicey.

However I've ring fenced 100 rooms at a more economical rate for the weekend on a first come first served basis.  If you want me to add you onto my booking list, please drop me an email back with the nights you need (from Thursday 11th, Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th), the names of the people staying and a mobile / cell number.

Single Occupany including breakfast and VAT £89 per night
Double / Twin Occupancy including breakfast and VAT £99 per night

50 rooms have already been booked by EUROTEK.2012 delegates.

This year's plans include;

- Jan Willem Bech and I have chatted and it looks as though he's bringing his historic breather display over from the Netherlands.  Thanks Jan Willem!
- Simon Mitchell is coming
- Andrew Foch has been confirmed
- We're having a disco at the Gala Dinner
- Pete Mesley has donated an a once in a lifetime trip to Truk as a top raffle prize
- Ambient Pressure Diving will be there loud and proud to answer your burning questions
