Jaysus Tony, just how many rebreathers do you own?  ::)  Is it 2 and a half or three and a half :cuckoo:
Do you think I am developing a problem :spin:

Ah another advantage if they are all yellow you can tell the missus you have one.

Great advice lads thanks.
I am in the market at the mo for a Inspo or an Evolution +

The reason I am thinking about the evo+ is because I am small (5'6) I have heard that they suit small people better. Is this rubish or true?

Also the travel aspect its is lighter for flying.

What unit between the two would you advise.
Oh I dont see myself doing many +100m dives if every any. 80ish meters will be deep enough. Saying that three years ago when I did my open water I thought that going deeper than 30ms was madness :-)

Another Q, what about the travelling kits - I was looking at one that had a travel frame instead of the box
has anyone used one of these

I use a travel frame on mine, a whole lot better and lighter than the original Classic case.

Up to you. Both are as capable as each other. Just smaller cylinders and dif case.  I have been to 100mt on both.  More 02 is nice so add a small of--k bottle and your good to go.

Dont know where you are but I could show you both in Wexford.

Cheers
Tony

Another good feature of the Vision, when the handset starts to mess around, giving you funny alarms etc, give it a good hard slap off the Left hand stage pillar valve and this will reset it !!!!
(So I have been reliably informed!)

Fintan- i am concerned that you may be spreading disinformation on a public forum...a diver of your calibre knows that it takes three decent slaps off the stage to determine viability for continuation of a 83m dive!
Ascending rapidly in the case of a blank handset is the route to ppO2 disaster!! Panicking has it's own disadvantages - luckily AP have addressed the issue and now flatten the tops of the battery springs. I'm not sure what I want to do for adventure now...

One advantage of the AP HUD is that the unit can be flown manually. Slow flashing green lights means press the green or O2 button as you are 0.2 bar below set point- as far as I remember- now where's my manual....
Suppose it makes a change from the VR3 being a crab smasher.
