Dive Ireland 2012.wmv

The Irish Underwater Council (CFT) are delighted to announce the 6th Annual International Dive Show at the City North Hotel, Dublin on the 3rd & 4th March.

This year's show will feature top-line Scuba professionals including key note speaker Rory Golden who, in 2000 became the first Irish diver to visit the site of the shipwreck HMS Titanic returning for a second visit in 2005. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and Rory will be giving a series of talks on his experiences. Also speaking will be Connie Kelleher of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht's underwater archaeology unit. In 2010 Connie was involved in the discovery of 2 ship wrecks off the Donegal coast that are believed to be linked to the 16th Century Spanish Armanda and 18th Century French Armanda.

Dive Ireland 2012 will also feature an array of Irish Marine companies and free seminars to cater for a wide range of diver interests. This guarantees a great day out for divers and non-divers alike.

Dive Ireland 2012 has rapidly become the country's largest showcase for the sport of sub-aqua diving and snorkelling and as an island nation Scuba and Snorkelling are some of our most accessible sports. So whether you're looking to start diving, want the latest new gear, training courses or exotic/local dive holidays, you'll find it all at Dive Ireland 2012.

Great deals are available at the show: Among the exhibitors are manufacturers and retailers of diving equipment, training agencies and dive holiday destinations, dive boats, training courses, publishers, leisure clothing and other diving related merchandise.

Opening Times:
Sat 3rd : 10.00 - 18.00
Sun 4th : 10.00 - 17.00

For more information please contact The Irish Underwater Council on 00353 1 2844601.

I heard you're a demon on the dancefloor. Instead of going to the CFT dinner dance you can head out with Alan and Fintan to Shags nightclub in Skerries. I've no idea what the name means - I think its a type of seagull  :devilban:

Sea shepherd? Might that be the allegedly ecologist organisation who put out the most fuel inefficient boat ever made?

To fight the good fight, of course. That excuses everything.

As opposed to looking for kicks and so much for nature which they were totally not doing and is evil and should be forbidden and those b*tards should be in jail and...

No offense to the Irish members who obviously never had anything to do with the above, but as much as I agree with the goal, and I certainly do, they did choose to associate themselves with it. Be sure to give me a shout when they do something worth downgrading their hypocrisy from world class. Kinda like those guys in France who wants people to drive less but complain when a refinery is to be shut down.

Feck surprised at ur thoughts of Sea Shepherd emmbee. I think they have done and are doing a great job with what they have. The crew are made up of volunteers not professional sailors that only stay for a few months so they defiantly arent the best but what they have done is through Whale Wars raised a huge lot of public attention of what the Japanese are doing. Before them very few people knew about Japanese whaling

Slow hand clap clap clap :) exactly my feelings. Whale meat is delicious.

One of their fleet was an ex norwegian whaler, so it would have been fit for chasing whales.
