Interesting. So my other 'solution' is 50 x 100m dives in short order.... Best get and finish that nitrox course!

I Have a DUI CF 200. Very thin compressed neoprene (not sure but looks like 1.5 mm) and also a traveling trilaminate SCUBAPRO Ever Tec. I feel no deference between the two in buoyancy due to compression of the neoprene at depth. However the trilaminate is more comfortable during pre dive activity than the DUI . The trilaminate takes an additional layer of under suite to give me the same thermal protection as my DUI and ends up with a couple of KGs more for the trilaminate with the extra layer. Trilaminate dries in no time (20-30 mins except the neoprene sock). The DUI takes ages to dry. In warmer water I can wear the DUI with a short and Tshirt but I cannot do this with trilaminate as it pinches my skin.
If I had to chose only one, I would go for my DUI.

Having decided I was heading off to Sharm I decided to try the Whites Fusion Bullet Drysuit for the rest of my Tx course. Shakedown dive to 42m was great. Canterbury (rugby) cold base layer only on top, xerotherm bottoms. 6KG lost from weights - result!!. Did 65m Tx dive today. Temp a balmy 20 degrees at depth. Very easy in bullet. It's warm so I'd be expecting xerotherms good to go to at least 14 degrees. Dived in a fusion sport in NZ to this temp no issue. Much less issue on buoyancy changes without the neoprene compression on my o three 5mm . Yes i know no surprise theres a difference, but it is surprising how markedly different it is. Very interested in the flooding discussion on the undersuits thread re how fourth element gear has performed wet. I shall have to experiment in portroe! Remind me to bring a flask of hot whiskey. So far the bullets ahead!
